Daytrip to Ohara
Ohara is a small village one-hour north of Kyoto, famous for its organic agriculture. Head there in the morning to experience a persimmon dye workshop at Kakishibuzome and taste the delicious local vegetables while having lunch at Kirin or at Kulm. Hot spring baths aficionados can take a break while soaking in the small onsen at Ohara Sansou in the afternoon.
